Account Settings

Use the Account Settings dialog to update your main account settings.

Accessing Your Settings​

Login to your Dashboard and click the Account Menu in the bottom left of the screen, next to your profile name.

Choose Settings.

Account Settings

The Account Settings contains the relevant settings for your ScriptSeek account, such as your name, email, location and password. If you need to change your email address you will need to re-validate the email address, similarly for any password changes we will send you an email with instructions on how to reset your password.

Notification Settings​

Email me when someone opens, reads or downloads my script​

When a Visitor or Filmmaker opens, reads or downloads your script either from within the ScriptSeek site, or your public profile, we'll send you an email notification.

Email me when a filmmaker, producer or agent is looking for new scripts​

Filmmakers who use ScriptSeek have the abiltity to create Script Agents that run automated script searches on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. If a Script Agent can't find matching scripts, we'll email you and let you know exactly what they're looking for. If you feel you have a script that generally matches their requirements, and you haven't uploaded it to ScriptSeek yet, you'll have an opportunity to upload your script. Once uploaded, the Script Agent will find your script (as long as it matches their critera) and automaticlly inform the Filmmaker of its availabilty.

Allow filmmakers, producers or agents to contact me​

Checking this box will show a "Connect With Writer" button on your profile within the ScriptSeek site. This allows the Filmmaker to send you a direct message, which we'll forward to your email address. Note we don't actually disclose your email address.
